Biography - ish

With a unique vocal quality (which between you and me might be due to listening to too much Scandinavian Metal as a teenager) and crazy guitar skills that most guitar players twice his age are jealous of, this guy really has something worth listening to.  Robin's influences range from Lindisfarne, (the first band he ever saw at just three years old)  to   Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Wishbone Ash, Lynyrd Skynyrd and all things classic rock and metal, but don't be fooled - what comes out is truly original and the work of a  true musician.

Having picked up a guitar at 15, Robin, now 23, is yet to put it down.  Asked years ago why he wasn't in a relationship he replied that his guitar would be jealous; and judging by his current sound that is something we can be thankful for.  Robin has played guitar with several bands around the North East including Wind of Change and Guvnor (Remembrance Day Video). He has also
played bass for Iron Gorilla (however while supporting Tesla at O2 Academy Newcastle he was described by Frank Hannon as playing it like an axe).

With his guitar playing firmly established, Robin has turned his talents to singing and song writing.  While he had played and sung some of his original material in his other bands it was the prospect of developing this further that attracted the attention of Weedspell records.  After signing with them in February 2010, Robin has been working hard on new material and released his first single, Lady on the Hill, in May 2011.  His début album - Hands Through Time - is currently in production and is expected early next year.
